Dr. Anand B Kakani is a skilled Neurosurgeon practicing at Radiant Superspeciality Hospital in Amravati, Maharashtra. Being the only neurosurgeon in the city, he has had ample opportunities to handle all kinds of neurosurgical cases. He has developed a special interest in neurotraumatology and neurooncology. In the last three years he has managed more than 1,000 cases of head injuries and has operated on more than 400 cases of various neurosurgical problems.
Dr. Anand Kakani has numerous publications to his name in indexed journals, and has also contributed a chapter to a textbook of neurosurgery. He has attended many conferences, workshops and other events pertaining to neurology, and served as an editorial team member of medical journals. Dr. Kakani has a keen interest in trekking and adventure sports, and has successfully completed three Himalayan trekking expeditions organised by the Youth Hostels Association of India.
